Caring Meals

Caring meals is a main meal service provided by and for the congregation to anyone who has need for a week or two for reasons such as a birth, recovery from surgery or any other such times when you might need it. Caring meals is available to everyone if the need arises. It consists of a group of volunteers each preparing and delivering one main meal with dessert to the family or person in need. The food does not need to be fancy or even home cooked.

If you are interested in helping out anytime please contact Jiem or Trudy and they will get in contact with you when someone has a need to ask if it is convenient at that time. They will then corodinate all of the details such as time, place, foods dislikes etc with you.

Don't underestimate how this helps people in need. It can really, really help that they do not need to organise and make dinner for their family and also lets them know how everyone is thinking of them. In the case of birth it also means that you might get a sneak peek of the new arrival (I think that is why my wife does it anyway).

So if you need this service sometime, or know someone who might and would like to suggest them to Robert or Carole please do not hesitate to contact them. They will do the rest.
